Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to any booking made with Coolvane, referred to as we or us, by the customer, referred to as you, for repair, installation, servicing or removal of air conditioning equipment. They apply whether the booking is made by phone, email or through our website, and cover both domestic and business customers unless a separate written contract is in place.

When you contact us, we'll give you an estimated price based on the information you provide, and confirm a firm quote once an engineer has seen the unit or property, either in person or through photos you send us. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise, and prices may change if the scope of work turns out to be different once we're on site.

You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the equipment and work area, including clearing furniture or stock where needed. We'll carry out the agreed work to a reasonable standard and in line with manufacturer guidance for the equipment involved. If access is not available at the agreed time, we may need to rebook the visit and a call-out charge may still apply.

Payment is due on completion of the work, by cash or bank transfer, unless a deposit or contract arrangement has been agreed in advance. An invoice will be provided showing labour and parts separately. For business customers with a maintenance contract, invoicing terms may be agreed separately in writing.

You can cancel or reschedule a booked visit free of charge if you give us at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations made with less notice, or where materials have already been ordered specifically for your job, may be subject to a charge to cover costs already incurred.

We carry public liability insurance for the work we carry out. We are not responsible for pre-existing faults in wiring, plumbing or building structure that are unrelated to the work agreed, though we will always flag anything we notice. If you're unhappy with completed work, tell us within 14 days and we'll arrange to inspect and, where appropriate, put it right under our guarantee.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
